Adventure Based Experiential Learning Programs (ABEL)


Our Philosophy

  • Adventure Based activities not only provide great fun and thrills with the adrenalin rush, they are also excellent, dynamic and powerful experiential learning tools, that can be used to benefit and challenge your group, positively impacting on their lives beyond the camp program.

  • With ABEL Programs, we can provide a great Partnership Approach for a wide range of groups, to creating a unique experiential learning adventure experience with a difference.

  • Providing High Quality ABEL programs with impact, purpose and fun in a supportive, challenging and positive environment.

Our Optional ABEL Programs

  • People Focused
    Working with them in a safe and supportive environment as they expand their comfort zones and trust levels while learning skills and strategies to help them make wise choices and to meet life’s challenges.

  • Fully sequenced
    Designed and delivered to the specific and unique needs of the group.Our sequential program will build on previously learned skills to take to the next level. Our instructors will run all specialised activities, and facilitate the learning after each activity.

  • Fully Structured But Flexible
    Allows changes to be made subject to variant factors (group dynamics, inclement weather,etc) while keeping focused on the learning outcomes.

  • Usually Supervised Fully by our staff
    (All specialised activities), which allows leaders/teachers to have the opportunity of participating in the activities and to focus on getting to know their campers better.

  • Include a wide range of activities that will encourage
    Team cohesion, creativity, task delegation, Leadership, People/ Time/ Task Management, Delegation, Communication, Self Esteem development, Empowerment , Motivation, Team Based approach to problem solving & Lateral Thinking,

  • General Teambuilding Programs
    Usually incorporate a combination of outdoor experiential learning activities like trust and team initiatives, low ropes activities, high and team challenges, lateral thinking and problem solving challenges.

  • Leadership /Personal Development/Corporate Teambuilding/”Youth At Risk”Programs
    Usually include a combination of outdoor experiential learning activities and personal development modules that are relevant and appropriate to the specific needs and age levels of the group.
  • Suitable For Grade 5-6 Camps, Yr 7-12, Youth & Young Adults Groups,  Youth at Risk Groups, Leadership Team, Business Staff, Religious Retreat Groups
